oh, hi there! welcome to my digital little world. . .
i'm klara and this is my attempt at transcribing my brain into words and pictures and copious lines of code — speaking of: i am disgustingly new at css and html so please don't judge this whole thing (yet), i am insanely aware of just how basic and ugly (and probably broken more often than not) it is. it's a perpetual wip that i'm hoping not to give up on like i usually do with projects. lol.

oh, by the way... i have what could be described as a dirty, big mouth in the sense that i say a lot more than i should and throw in a bunch of curse words in the middle — if that's something that bothers you, feel free to leave and to mentally scold me for it or something. i am also not brave enough to test this on mobile or on any other size screen (mine's 1680 x 1050). the chances of it working are essentially zero since i've done absolutely nothing to make sure it will. sorry.

i frequently find myself afraid of being “too basic” (trust me, i know just how strange and frankly priviledged of a fear that is) so, when i first discovered neocities, back in june of 2025, i felt as though it would be the perfect way to manipulate my life into an interesting thing by organizing my favorite aspects of it on a page designed to be something half as cool as the rest of you on here.

it took me a weekend to learn the basics of html css and three months to decide the vibe i wanted for this. and then another two to actually design it. who knows what it will take to change my mind about it yet again...

as of right now, this index is designed after one of my favorite pictures out of the thousand i took during a trip in august, & i plan on keeping the theme of my own pictures throughout the rest of this website. knowing myself, that will probably not be happening.

you can read more about me here, i promise i don't go that deep into my mind on the intro page. . . this whole thing is a huuuge mess and there's still so much stuff to be done, i'm not even sure i'll ever be proud enough of this to call it 100% complete — i hope you can find it an enjoyable experience either way . . . mwah !
